Grandmother Kim Died: Father: Mother: She was first in her family to learn Korean writing, which she learned it secretly. She could read the Bible and thus became first Christian in the family. They lived on a small island in North Korea, then later mover to Pyongyang, capital of N. Korea. |

Became the Governor of a small city at 17 years old. Moved to a bigger city, Pyungyang(now Capital of North Korea) and became a Christian and attended University. Became a teacher, then went to seminary and became a famous minister in Pyungyang. He played an important part in the Korean Liberation movement for Independence. Some history or textbooks has his name noted as one of the leaders of that movement. |
