He is an artist who was quite famous in his younger years for designing newspaper logos and various labels. He also sold many calligraphy and still-life paintings.  He became an an elder at Kwang Lim Church which is one of the well-known churches in Seoul.

Married to- Sarah (Korean lady) who passed away from tuberculosis-no children.

Married to- Yoon Boon Soon- had 4 children
