Siung Nak Luke Kim Died: Father: Sun Doo Kim Mother: Sun Hang Kim First Kim family to settle in USA. In S Korea, Luke was Dean of SoongSil University in Seoul. He came to Los Angeles and settled there in early 1940's. He started a first Korean church in LA-with his house next to the church building. Luke was one of the first ministers to go to North Korea to minister and take Bibles. Luke passed away in Los Angeles. Ruth lived with her daughter Grace after Luke passed away and she passed away several years later. |
